Your support makes all the difference.For many, this year’s Big Brother was a stressful experience, apparently on par with the current turbulent political state the UK is facing.
Jason Burrill - who describes himself as looking “like a thug that sounds like Danny Dyer crossed with Frank Bruno” but who has “been told I'm actually just a big marshmallow with a pet Shitzu” - won the controversial reality TV show.
Fans were outraged by the result, taking to Twitter to share their disbelief, many of who compared the result to Brexit.
“I'm sorry UK I could forgive you for Brexit. But how the hell could you not vote for Hughie Maughan,” wrote one outraged social media user. Another added: “What is wrong with the British public? Why? Why? This is worse than #Brexit.”
Some more example included people Tweeting “Jason winning is like Brexit all over again”, “First #Brexit, now #BBUK! What is wrong with voting UK public!” and “Since Brexit we've gone into an alternative reality where Jason wins #BBUK.”
Meanwhile, the contestants for the next series of Celebrity Big Brother have been announced, with many people struggling to identify any of them.
One of the more recognisable faces is former I'm a Celebrity... winner Christopher Biggins, who is reportedly one of the highest paid contestants, having 'accepted £150,000' to enter the house.
Celebrity Big Brother begins at 9pm on Thursday.
