Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

It’s been 11 years since the final episode of popular TV sitcom Friends aired.

Ben, Ross Geller’s son, did a lot of growing up during the show.

Memorable moments included him being left on the bus by babysitters Chandler and Joey - who were using him to attract women, being taught how to pull pranks on his dad by Rachel, and the time Phoebe lost her cool over an arcade game.

For the most part, he was played by Cole Sprouse, who along with his twin brother, Dylan, went on to star in TV show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, as well as Mile Cyrus' series Hannah Montana.

But what is baby Ben up to these days?

Well, he’s not so babyish anymore: he's 23-years-old. Last year he graduated from New York University, along withDylan, after completing a degree in archaeology (not unlike Ross’ career in palaeontology).

He is currently a model and a keen photographer, while also maintaining a popular Twitter account.

He also runs an Instagram account called @camera_duels, where he posts pictures of people trying to take pictures of him.

He still acts occasionally too, recently starring opposite Chace Crawford in horror movie Cry of Fear.

Friends coffee shop opens for anniversary

It comes after NBC announced a two-hour Friends reunion, in which the cast will assemble to discuss the show rather than shoot any new scenes.

Show bosses are hoping to get all six Friends on board and it is possible they might stage some sort of skit in-character, as they have on chat shows before.
