Your support makes all the difference.Miley Cyrus brought her Bangerz tour to London last night and used the opportunity to refute claims she had taken a drug overdose.
The "Adore You" singer assured the crowd that she was "actually really responsible when it comes to being on tour" after she was forced to spend time in hospital and cancel eight shows last month.
"I didn't have a drug overdose. I took some s****y antibiotics the doctor gave me for an infection and had a reaction," she said.
Cyrus then hit out at her critics, adding: "You know what makes me a lot better is when people online say, 'you're overdosing on drugs!' I had a really s****y week and those s****y comments made it a lot s****ier.
"I already had a death in my family so my immune system was already low."
Said death may or may not refer to her beloved dog Floyd who passed away in April. She honoured the pet with a tribute - "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac - at a US show shortly afterwards.
Cyrus went on to mention how she is "probably the one on this tour that doesn't smoke or drink" because she sees her job on-stage as "like an athlete".
The 21-year-old had promise to "f*** this place up" at a brief press conference before the O2 Arena gig, insisting she was "the poster child for good health".
"I've been laying down for three weeks. I'm gonna go off, I'm like a star waiting to explode," she said.
Cyrus had kept fans up to date on her condition with a series of tweets and Instagram photos. In the end, it was some "crazy honey and lavender" that helped her on the road to recovery.
The former Disney star closed her first UK show with big hits "We Can't Stop", "Wrecking Ball" and "Party in the USA".
