Marilyn Manson has been dropped by his talent agency after he was accused of abuse by several women.

A source at CAA, one of the foremost agencies in the entertainment industry, told Vanity Fair on Tuesday that Manson is no longer a client.

The Independent has contacted CAA for more information. As of Tuesday afternoon, Variety and The Hollywood Reporter had both confirmed the news.

The reports came the day after Evan Rachel Wood, who was in a relationship with Manson between 2007 and 2010, named Manson as her alleged abuser in an Instagram post. After Wood shared her post, several women came forward with their own claims.

Manson has denied all the allegations against him, calling them “horrible distortions of reality”.

“My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners,” he added. “Regardless of how – and why – others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.”

On Monday, Manson’s record label Loma Vista Recordings announced it had ended its relationship with the singer, citing the allegations.

“In light of today’s disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their abuser, Loma Vista will cease to further promote his current album effective immediately,” the company wrote in a statement.

“Due to these concerning developments, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects.”

Manson has also been dropped from the TV shows American Gods and Creepshow.
