On Monday 1 February, Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood issued a public statement alleging that the musician and actor, born Brian Warner, groomed and abused her “for years”.
Following Wood’s statement, several other women have come forward accusing Manson of similar offences.
They also allege that they have suffered from PTSD, night terrors and OCD after their relationships with Manson ended.
Manson has denied the accusations, calling them “horrible distortions of reality”.

Soon after the allegations came to light, Manson was dropped by his record label, Loma Vista. His US publicist told The Independent that they are no longer working with him.
A spokesperson for Starz, which broadcasts American Gods in the US, has now told Deadline: “Due to the allegations made against Marilyn Manson, we have decided to remove his performance from the remaining episode he is in, scheduled to air later this season. Starz stands unequivocally with all victims and survivors of abuse.”
Manson had guest-starred in the series as blood-thirsty Johan Wengren, lead singer of the Viking death metal band Blood Death.
American Gods star Yetide Badaki tweeted: “I stand with Evan Rachel Wood and these brave women.”
Additionally, AMC’s Shudder has pulled Manson’s episode of its horror anthology series Creepshow.
Wood, who began a relationship with Manson when she was 19 and he was 38, accused him of grooming her when she was a teenager before beginning the abuse.
“I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission,” she wrote. “I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail.”
She added: “I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”

Wood shared the accounts of other women making similar allegations about Manson from her Instagram Stories.
