From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

If you’ve wisely decided not to subscribe to Tidal just to listen to Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo and refuse to join the other 500,000 people in illegally downloading a copy, fret not.

No, the rapper hasn’t uploaded it to Spotify, nor has he sanctioned the world to illegally download it (even though he uses The Pirate Bay himself).

Instead, one fan - who goes by the name LifeOfPabloKanye - has decided to bypass all that and upload the full 58 minutes and two second to adult entertainment website PornHub (because the record labels aren’t going to look there, right?).

This isn’t the first time PornHub have branched out past video content; previously, they have released a clothing line and recently created a campaign to save the sperm whale.

Meanwhile, Kanye has been getting into all sorts of trouble for Tweeting various things, including information about how much debt he is in, showing the world he uses illegal websites and calling on Mark Zuckerberg to help him out.
