Kanye West is working on a new song entitled “Piss On Your Grave”, and he might have wheeled in Paul McCartney to help him out.

In the most unlikely of collaborations, the US rapper and former Beatle are believed to be secretly working together, according to the New York Post’s Page Six.

West, who sometimes calls himself the “Black Beatle”, had been keen to feature McCartney on his Yeezus follow-up later this year, but his representative declined to comment on the rumoured pairing.

McCartney, too, has mentioned collaborating with a hip-hop artist such as Jay Z or Kanye in the past. Last summer, he tweeted that he had bought a copy of Yeezus and considered recruiting Kanye for his song “Appreciate”.

Then, West rocked up to McCartney’s gig at Dodger’s Stadium in Los Angeles last week, sparking yet more speculation among fans hoping to see a team-up on the “Bound 2” star’s next record.

Reports suggest that the musicians have recorded several tracks together, with potential for their work to “develop into an album”.

West’s next album is expected before the end of 2014, despite a June release to “kill it for the summer” being the original aim.

Most of first single “All Day” is already completed and, in West’s ever humble words, “so good, the album has to be balanced against it”.
