Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Caitlyn Jenner finds herself in a sticky position in tonight’s episode of I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.

The ITV reality show continues with yet another Bushtucker Trial that sees the Snake Rock camp – comprised of Jenner, ex-EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa, rugby pro James Haskell, footballer Ian Wright and comedian Andrew Maxwell – forced to face down reptiles in exchange for meals.

In a preview clip released on Twitter, American television presenter Jenner can be seen with her head in a box filled with snakes as her fellow camp mates watch on.

This year’s celebrities have been split into two camps, with Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle, presenter Kate Garraway, Rak-su singer Myles Stephenson and DJs Roman Kemp and Adele Roberts in the main site.

Coronation Street star Andrew Whyment – who plays Kirk Sutherland – is expected to join the show alongside a mystery celebrity in a few days.

The salaries of each contestant has been reported – see what each is earning for their appearance here.

I’m a Celebrity continues nightly at 9pm on ITV
