But if there were a just God he would, according to Bertrand Russell, expect men to make proper use of the reason with which he has endowed them and as he has not supplied them with sufficient evidence for believing in his existence, he would be displeased with those who did so, like Gordon Whitehead, and pleased with those, like Dawkins, who did not.
