Sir: Wordsworth said it first:

Milton] Thou shouldst be living at this hour:

England hath need of thee; she is a fen

Of stagnant waters.

Yea, Milton, we do indeed need thee, but in Her Majesty's government, not as a compulsory prescription for A-level English in the national curriculum.
