ANDREW BROWN ('An A to Z of Hell', 19 December) in S for Sheol is wrong in thinking that Old Testament Jews were not very interested in immortality and that few believed in life after death.
Job, Abraham, David, Daniel, the prophets and many more, all believed in immortality and their faith in God's promise of life after death is clearly confirmed in Chapter 11 of Paul's letter to the Hebrews.
