If the inhabitants of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales are to be given a choice about their relationship to the rest of the existing UK, we English must be given our referendum about continued membership of the UK too.
If the kingdom of Scotland, the principality of Wales, and the province of Northern Ireland wish to remain together, fine. But let them do so without English subsidies.
