Here in west Cambridge where McDonald's has taken over our local pub (no planning permission required), the smell of cooking burgers invades our "security, calm and order". Be warned, all you who live in pleasant surroundings on the edge of towns, McDonald's is fast moving in and the aroma it brings is, believe me, the ruination of the suburbs.
