Your support makes all the difference.Sir: In your coverage (1 July) of the changes proposed by the Girl Guides Association, you, in quoting my comment upon this matter, refer to me as the 'censorship campaigner'. We do not campaign for censorship but for responsibility and the fulfilling of the obligations laid by Parliament upon the broadcasting authorities.
The fact that the 1959 Obscene Publications Act is so useless - indeed, more than that, a menace - means that we are campaigning for it to be made more effective. That, too, would be an act, not of censorship, but of plain common sense and compassion.
