Shadow Business Secretary Chuka Umunna's day took a turn for the bizarre as he found himself on stage in a Brixton school while Will Smith rapped out an impromptu performance of the 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'.

Pupils at St-Martin-in-the-Fields High School for Girls in Tulse Hill had no idea that the star of Men In Black would make an appearance and their response - screaming back lyrics at Smith - shows a level of pandemonium headmistresses only accept on rare and special occasions.

Umunna himself gets in an obligatory knee bend or two.

But next time any politicians want to warm up a teenage crowd, they at least know what record to play.
