Your support makes all the difference.My interest in medicine and medical research began at an early age. My mum was a nurse and built a successful nursing home business so I have always been interested in healthcare.
However, my support for GOSH began in 1999 when my nephew was referred to the hospital for treatment, and I got a first-hand look at what an extraordinary place it is.
I have a huge amount of respect for the hospital. It is a world leader in medical research, pioneering successful new treatments and securing the good health of our future generations as well as that of children across the world.
I’m sure many of our customers have been touched by GOSH in some way. Travel is the perfect form of escapism, of course, and a great distraction from reality, but there are many families at the hospital with very sick children who don’t have a getaway option, and it’s those people that we have a duty to support.
It is an honour to support the Give to GOSH appeal with this donation of £250,000, but for me this is more than just money.
Trailfinders’ connection with GOSH runs deeper than that and it is important to me that our staff and customers feel connected with this wonderful charity.
