New aerial footage from the scene of a plane crash in Russia which killed all 71 people onboard has been released by officials.

The Saratov Airlines plane was flying from Moscow's Domodedovo airport to Orsk when it disappeared from the radar.

According to Interfax various reasons are being considered as to what caused the crash, such as weather conditions and plot error, but the true cause is reportedly still largely unknown.

Drone footage has now been released of the crash site by the Russian investigative committee, which shows the extent of the damage from above.
