Three rescued from sinking boat off New Jersey coast
The footage captures the incredible rescue of three people from a sinking boat by the US Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City (USCG).
The US Coast Guard said its crew was undergoing routine training when it received the distress call of the sinking boat, that began taking on water on Sunday morning.
According to the US Coast Guard, the boat was “swamped” with water when they got to the location, east of Long Branch, New Jersey.
The recording, taken from a USCG helicopter, shows a Coast Guard swimmer helping the survivors onto the rescue boat.
