Dyche surprised by scoreline as Everton thrash Brighton to boost survival hopes
Sean Dyche says he was surprised by the scoreline as his Everton side thrashed Brighton 5-1 to climb out of the relegation zone on Monday.
The Toffees took a big step towards Premier League survival with a surprise victory at the Amex Stadium, as Dwight McNeil starred for the visitors.
At full-time Dyche praised his team for putting in a “very pleasing” performance.
Everton are now two points above the relegation zone with three matches left to play this season.
