This is the heartwarming moment New York Red Bulls players give their coats to mascots amid torrential rain before their game against Inter Miami, in a video which has now gone viral.

The likes of Lewis Morgan and Dante Vanzeir can be seen giving their practice coats to the mascots who walked out with them to the field on Saturday (23 March) as heavy rain continued to fall before the game.

Vanzeir appeared to be the player who started the trend and can be seen taking off his coat and wrapping the young boy standing in front of him in his jacket.
