Erik ten Hag tells Man United players not to be ‘lazy’ after Carabao Cup win

Erik ten Hag has warned Manchester United not to let their Carabao Cup win make them "lazy."

The football manager was speaking after the side won their first trophy in six years by beating Newcastle at Wembley 2-0.

He said that while winning silverware shows the team is "going in the right direction," it must be a motivation for improvement.

"Be happy, yeah, be happy for 24 hours - but not satisfied, because satisfaction leads to laziness."
