Pep Guardiola pays tribute to Manchester United’s Sir Bobby Charlton
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola paid tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton who has died aged 86.
During a press conference after his side’s 2-1 win at home to Brighton, Guardiola spoke about the Manchester United’s player who won the 1966 Ballon d’Or calling him a ‘legend’.
“This kind of football players represents English football like anyone else can, condolences from all of us to his family”.
Mr Guardiola also hinted that the clubs might be paying proper tribute to England great Sir Bobby Charlton during one of the matches scheduled next week.
