Freddie Flintoff makes speech on return to England cricket: ‘Living the dream’
Freddie Flintoff tells his England cricket colleagues “We’re living the dream” in a passionate speech as he continues his sport comeback.
Flintoff suffered serious facial injuries following a car crash while filming Top Gear last December.
The 46-year-old, one of England’s greatest cricketers, was asked to make a speech and present Adil Rashid, the two-time World Cup-winning leg-spinner, with a commemorative cap to mark his 100th T20 appearance for England, on Wednesday (13 December).
Flintoff told him: “You epitomise everything England Cricket is about. It is a privilege for me to give you this.”
