Lukaku offers five-word response on Chelsea future after impressing against England
Romelu Lukaku has said it is up to Chelsea whether or not he gets the chance to “impress” in England once again.
The Belgium star - who is currently on loan at Roma - returned to London on Tuesday night (26 March) with an eye-catching performance at Wembley.
Lukaku provided a stunning assist for teammate Youri Tielemans in a 2-2 draw which saw Jude Bellingham equalise with the last kick.
At full-time, the 30-year-old striker was quizzed on his future.
“When you come back to England, is there a bit of you that really wants to impress?” he was asked.
“You’ll have to ask Chelsea,” Lukaku replied, laughing.
