Watch: Chelsea fans chant ‘we are staying up’ during Bournemouth win
Chelsea fans celebrated their 3-1 win against Bournemouth by chanting “We are staying up!” as the side ended a miserable run of six defeats in a row.
Conor Gallagher opened the scoring early on before the Cherries pulled level through Matias Vina, with late goals from Benoit Badiashile and Joao Felix ensuring Blues fans had plenty to shout about on the south coast.
The win - Chelsea’s first since 11 March - was also Frank Lampard’s 100th game in Premier League management.
Fans chanted “We are staying up” as the club moved onto 42 points, meaning they are officially safe from relegation.
