Chelsea will respect Barry’s ambition if he opts to join Bayern Munich

Chelsea will respect coach Anthony Barry’s ambition should he opt to join Bayern Munich, according to boss Graham Potter.

Barry was publicly courted by former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel this week as he looks to assemble a coaching staff at the Bundesliga champions.

The club have been disappointed at the ex-manager’s choice to publicise his pursuit of the 36-year-old.

“These things happen in life, in football,” Potter said, describing how he “respected” Barry “a lot.”
