Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix broke down in tears as she described the difficulties of her journey to the Paris 2024 Olympics after missing out on a diving medal on Tuesday, 6 August.
“I’m not even upset with my performance. Three years ago I didn’t even want to be alive,” she said.
