Huge pod of bottlenose dolphins spotted off East Yorkshire coast

A huge pod of dolphins was captured on video swimming off the Yorkshire coast by a wildlife photographer.

Steve Race filmed approximately 30 of the marine mammals gliding through the water near Bempton Cliffs in Bridlington.

“The video shows unbelievable dolphin action today along the Yorkshire coast. This pod of 30+ bottlenose dolphins followed the boat underneath Bempton Cliffs,” Mr Race wrote on X/Twitter.

The RSPB says there has been an increase in sightings of cetaceans, including a humpback whale and minke whales, near the Bempton Cliffs nature reserve.
