Space footage shows storm flying over western US
Footage released by the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere shows a storm brewing over the United States on Monday, 27 March.
A second bomb cyclone in a week hit California on Tuesday, with the storm predicted to bring wind gusts of 45-55 mph and heavy rainfall in the Bay Area.
A Winter Storm Warning was issued for parts of the Sierra Nevada.
It comes after the state experienced intense flooding earlier this month caused by an atmospheric river.
