Watch live as SpaceX launches crewed mission to the ISS
SpaceX, the space company owned by American entrepreneur Elon Musk, is to send four astronauts into space in a launch event on Friday.
‘Crew-2’ comes as Nasa gave the go ahead for the mission, which will take the individuals to the International Space Station, last week.
The trip will be the first to use a recycled Falcon rocket and Dragon capsule used on a previous journey into space.
Kathy Lueders, head of the human exploration office at Nasa, said “it’s really, really amazing” what both Nasa and SpaceX have achieved.
