Deb Haaland, secretary of the interior in US President Joe Biden’s government, is to join the latest White House press briefing on Friday, alongside Press Secretary Jen Psaki. Haaland, a member of the Lalguna Pueblo tribe in New Mexico, made history last month when she became the first Native American to serve as a cabinet secretary.
