You can watch live as the headline event of Science and Innovation day at Cop26 sees parties, observers and non-state actors come together to discuss what is needed to keep temperatures within the 1.5C degree limit of warming that scientists say is needed to avert the worst ‘tipping points’.
Yesterday, former US president Barack Obama spoke at the summit in which he praised the “real progress” that has been made so far – but said not enough had been done to avert the key level of 1.5C.
