Three people stranded on boat rescued by US Coast Guard
Three people were rescued by the US Coast Guard after their boat got into trouble during a particularly violent Atlantic storm season we’ve been experiencing this year.
The three mariners were rescued on the afternoon of Wednesday (1 September) when their sailboat ran aground and the Coast Guard had to be called.
In the above video, you can see the sailors being winched up to the Coast Guard helicopter where they were taken to safety. No serious injuries have been reported thus far.
