Thief wearing high-vis jacket attempts to hide from police

This suspected thief was immediately found by police in South Texas after they tried to hide while wearing a high-visibility jacket.

As you can see in the video, drone footage from above shows the suspect lying down in a patch of brush, sticking out like a sore thumb in a bright orange jacket.

Police slowly approach the suspect lying down in the shrubbery before apprehending them in handcuffs.

Aransas Pass Police Department shared a video to Facebook with the caption: "Note to thieves: Might be wise not to dress like a road crew worker while running from the police."
