Debris scattered around damaged buildings after tornados rip through Texas city
A line of tornadoes ripped through the city of Temple, Texas, on Wednesday 22 May, causing severe damage to homes and businesses.
Eyewitness video shows damage to several businesses along a shopping district.
Debris are seen scattered across roads and pavements in front of damaged buildings.
“Poor Temple. Look at the play [area]. I hope there were no kids in there,” the person behind the camera is heard saying, as her car drives through the destruction.
The National Weather Service is to investigate the severity of the storm on Thursday.
