Team GB swimmer Adam Peaty calls for better funding for sport
Team GB’s golden boy Adam Peaty has called for better funding for swimming after he claimed silver in the men’s 4×100 metres medley relay at Tokyo 2020.
Peaty spoke about the sacrifices he and his family had to make when he was younger – and how expensive swimming can be with all the fees involved.
Team GB finished behind the USA in the men’s 4×100 metres medley relay, with Luke Greenbank, Duncan Scott and James Guys also representing Britain in the race.
