Body recovered from scene of suspected gas explosion in Swansea, police say

Police have confirmed that the body of a man has been recovered from the scene of a suspected gas explosion in Swansea.

Emergency services were called on Monday, 13 March, to an explosion at an address in Morriston.

The man was previously reported as unaccounted for. His family have been informed.

Three other people were taken to hospital after the blast on the junction of Clydach Road and Field Close, which one property was left collapsed and neighbouring houses were damaged.
