Slotherhouse: Killer sloth takes over sorority house in trailer for new horror

Self-aware comedy hijinx ensues with the first release trailer of Slotherhouse, a new horror film coming this August.

The trailer shows a recently-adopted sloth wreaking havoc on the residents of a sorority house.

Senior Emily Young adopts the animal, thinking it cute enough to be the house's new mascot. Furthermore, she thinks it will help get her elected as president of the sorority house.

Things slowly turn sinister, however, as Alpha the sloth is seemingly responsible for a string of murders happening around the sorority house.

Part horror, part comedy, Slotherhouse looks self-aware enough to garner attention.

Slotherhouse will release in cinemas on August 30, 2023.
