Sir Clive Sinclair, home computer pioneer, dies aged 81
Computing pioneer and inventor of the pocket calculator Sir Clive Sinclair has died at the age of 81, his family has confirmed.
His ZX Spectrum released in 1982 inspired future generations of video game developers, with many honing their skills on the personal computer, which was a competitor to the Commodore 64 at the time.
