Moment glass falls out of windows from high-rise building near pedestrians below
A glass window was seen falling from a high-rise building in San Francisco on Tuesday (14 March) amid strong winds in the Financial District.
Footage shows the glass falling from the 555 California Street building, formerly the Bank of America Center.
People can be seen walking on the streets below, narrowly avoiding the falling glass.
“It’s glass. Oh my God, it’s cracking,” the man recording the video can be heard saying.
A shelter-in-place order was issued for 555 California Street amid the incident, with the San Francisco Fire Department later confirming no one was injured by the falling glass.
