‘I just wanted it to be over’: Woman speaks of moment she was raped by ex-Metropolitan police officer
A woman has recalled how a former Metropolitan Police officer took her to the woods and raped her when she was just 16.
Lauren Taylor, who has waived her right to anonymity, has bravely spoken of the moment ex-PC Adam Proven raped her.
Ms Taylor, now 29, said: “Basically he raped me. I remember holding on to the tree. I was kind of hugging the tree like emotional support, pretending I was anywhere else in the world but back there. I remember it can’t have been long, but it felt like a long time.”
Proven has now been jailed for 16 years.
