Princess Diana statue open for remembrance on 24th anniversary of death

Twenty-four years have passed since the death of Princess Diana in a car crash in Paris when she was just 36-years-old.

William and Harry unveiled a statue of their late mother last month nearly a quarter of a century on from her death.

The statue which stands in Kensington Palace will be open to the public between 3pm and 5pm today for visitors to pay their dues.

The statue of the People’s Princess is generally only open between Wednesday and Saturday due to ongoing Covid restrictions.
