Quick-thinking pedestrian saves two-year-old hurtling down hill on out-of-control scooter
A quick-thinking pedestrian saved a two-year-old boy who was hurtling down a hill on an out-of-control toy scooter.
The boy ventured too far from his home and began rolling down the steep road in Honghe, a city in Yunnan province, China, on 17 July.
Luckily, a local construction worker was walking up the hill and spotted the child. CCTV footage showed the man stepping in and scooping the boy up out of harm’s way. Other bystanders then rushed over to make sure the child was ok.
