Palestine supporters march towards Downing Street as thousands gather in London
Hundreds of Palestine supporters marched through central London on Saturday 21 October, setting off from Marble Arch at 12pm to converge on Downing Street.
The Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) has said it expects 200,000 people to join what it claims will be the “biggest march for Palestinian rights in British history” on Saturday.
Sharing an image on social media website X, the Metropolitan Police estimated 70,000 protesters had gathered by 2pm.
Aerial footage shows hundreds of people making their way through the streets of the capital on Saturday afternoon.
Ben Jamal, director of the PSC, told LBC he expects the protests will continue every week over the next few months.
