Minister admits not having Johnson’s phone number amid Dyson ‘sleaze’ row
A government minister has admitted to not having Boris Johnson’s phone number, as they faced questions about the prime minister’s texts to the billionaire businessman James Dyson.
In an interview with Good Morning Britain on Friday, Caroline Dinenage, the digital culture minister, was asked why certain people had Johnson’s number while others didn’t.
“Of course they don’t hand them out willy-nilly, and I’m not even sure I have got the prime minister’s number, to be honest with you.
“We are talking about someone who is one of the top British businesspeople in the world,” she said.
