Meteor lights up night sky over France with ‘boom’ reported

In the above video, you can see a stunning meteor lighting up the night sky over the port of Arzal in France on the night of Sunday (5 September).

The amazing light show was reported by many on social media, with some saying they heard a loud “boom” as the meteor burned up as it entered our atmosphere.

The astrological phenomenon took place at around 11.45pm, and there were reports of stargazers in the UK also being able to see the meteor as it fell towards Earth.
