Martin Lewis explains how Britons can save money on their phone bills

Martin Lewis has said more than 10 million Britons will be able to save on their phone bill by switching to a cheaper provider if they are out of contract.

The MoneySavingExpert told Good Morning Britain viewers on Thursday 30 March that those who are looking for a new deal should go to price comparison websites and switch to a cheaper tariff, or “haggle” with their current provider.

“I’ll give a quick tip for anyone to try here,” Lewis said.

“If you text info to 850575 on your mobile it will tell you whether you are in contract or not.”
