Liz Truss confirms whether she’d stand for prime minister again
Liz Truss has confirmed whether she is likely to stand for prime minister again.
The MP for South West Norfolk resigned in October 2022 after just 45 days in office, making her the UK’s shortest-serving prime minister in history.
In an interview with The Spectator, her first since leaving Downing Street, Ms Truss set out whether she would be prepared to stand for premiership again, and whether she regretted doing so in the first place.
