Debunked: Why are people claiming Joe Biden is in a hospice?

On Tuesday (23 July), news organization Global Press Corp. reported that a “verified source” said Joe Biden was “currently in hospice care and unlikely to survive the night” following his Covid diagnosis.

This claim gained 13 million views on X before a fact check note was added.

Despite the 81-year-old president making a public appearance after pulling out of the 2024 race, the conspiracy persisted, with claims it was either a body double or old footage.

However, there is no credible evidence to support this. Biden’s physician confirmed he completed his tenth dose of Paxlovid and was continuing to perform duties.
