Israel faces fourth Covid wave despite wide ranging vaccine rollout
Israel is facing a fourth wave of Covid-19 despite being one of the world leaders in the race to vaccinate their entire population.
Cases of the virus have breached the 5,000 per day mark once more, as the country rolls out its programme to offer a third booster shot to all those over the age of 60.
So far, 420,000 have received their third dose of a Covid vaccine but the initiative has sparked debate worldwide as many people are still waiting to get their first dose of a jab.
